The Optimal Marketing Plan

Posted by Online Marketer under Uncategorized - No Comments

Every businessmen or entrepreneurs will tell you in order to do well in your business, you need to have a good business plan or a ‘game’ plan.

What is an Optimal Marketing Plan? Similarly, for Internet Marketing to be successful, we need to have a good marketing plan. One very succesful entrepreneur, Robert T. Kiyosaki(of Rich Dad Poor Dad fame), will tell you that most business or corporations are using an optimal ‘game’ plan for their business. And, he himself also uses that. This optimal business plan is – Single Tactic-Multiple Strategy Plan. This goes along the argument that if we concentrate on doing only 1 thing right but have 101 ways of doing it, we will be successful in doing that single thing. It is common sense isn’t it! Here at internet marketing business you will learn more on marketing.

Likewise, Internet Marketing can use this tactical plan for marketting. We will call this the optimal marketing plan! So, we just need to come up with the single tactic and then have multiple strategies to work towards materializing our tactic.

Example, say we wish to market our digital product like “7 Days to Profits $100,000 A Year Webinar” Packge – Our Tactic. To sell this product, we need to think of way to sell and market it – Our Strategies.

We list out our tactic and follow by our multiple strategies.

Our Tactic: Market the “7 Days to Profits $100,000 A Year Webinar” Packge.

Our Strategies:

1. Create Website to advertise the product.

2. Pay-Per-Click Campaign

3. Post Articles on subject related to product to the ezines directories.

4. Blog on subject related to product.

5. Submit links to Search engines.

6. Forum to market the product.

The list of strategies goes on and on… The above example is an overly simplied but it does serve the purpose of explaining my points.

How to create an Optimal Marketing Plan? To create an optimal marketing plan, we must own the 3 Whats,i.e. What business/market we are in, what the customers really want and what are the single most effective tactic to use?

1. What business/market we are in? We need to know what business and market we are in, in order to create the most effective tactic. From the example previously, the products is actually in internet marketing niche market. We are actually in information business.

2. What the customers really want? Customers nowadays don’t just want solutions to their problems. They want values too. Most products in the market do provide some kinds of solutions. But, not all the products we buy. We only buy selected products. We select products based on our “percieved values”,eg. brands of products, usefulness, look nice, etc.

3. What is the single most effective tactic to use? After we know the first 2 whats, finding the tactic to use is straight forward. The most effective tactic to use is able to meet customers’ ‘wants’ and able to make use of the market to the advantages. We can use the “7 Days to Profits $100,000 A Year Webinar” Packge as an example to illustrate this. We know that it is an information product for teaching people how to make profits of $100K a year in 7 days. Since it is information product for internet marketing, we can distribute it easily online through digital means like eBook, audio, video. People who will buy from this product want fast solution, i.e to jump start their business in a short period of 7 days. Hence, we able to come up with our more precise tactic – To market and promote “7 Days to Profits $100,000 A Year Webinar” Packge online through digital channel. As it is already a digital product, we can ommit the stating the digital channel part.

Getting the plan together… So we can put our tactic in more precise term.

Revised Tactic: To market and promote the “7 Days to Profits $100,000 A Year Webinar” Packge Online.

After finding the 3 whats and formulating our tactic, the next step is to brainstorm strategies to push our tactic. Here are the details strategies from above example.

Revised Marketing Strategies:

1. Create a content-rich website on internet marketing to promote the product.

2. Advertise in Google Adwords, Overture and other Pay-Per-Click Campaigns

3. Write articles on the subject of internet marketing strategies and tactics with link to the website and post them to the ezines directories.

4. Create blog on internet marketing strategies and tactics with links to the website promoting the product.

5. Link exchange with other internet marketing related sites and search engines.

6. Create a forum on internet marketing strategies and tactics to market the product.

As you can see, if we use this Optimal Marketing Plan, we will be able to concentrate on what we really want to do that is promoting our products and plan our strategies accordingly. Click internet marketing tips to learn more about marketing.

The Secret To Getting Indexed In Yahoo

Posted by Online Marketer under Uncategorized - No Comments

Getting indexed in Yahoo has become very difficult in the last few months. The indexing robot, Yahoo!Slurp, has become erratic. For some sites, the robot will view all pages, but only add a few to the Yahoo database. For other sites, sub-domain listings actually start disappearing! So, what’s the secret to getting indexed?

Pleasing Yahoo!Slurp

The secret to getting indexed in Yahoo involves constant updates to your site. The updates, however, have to be done on both the site and through Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds. Here’s how you go about getting indexed. Click internet marketing seo to get more information.

The first step is to start a blog for your site. You can build a blog on your site or use a free service. I prefer blogger.com because it is easy to use, but you can use whatever you like. Once you have your blog up, you should make entries that correspond and link to content on your site. For example, I will post this article on my blog, Moshing Search Engines, and link it to the article page on MarketingTitan.com.

To supercharge the impact of the blog, you should also link to a site map on your site. If you don’t have a site map, make one in HTML. The Yahoo robot will definitely follow it and index the pages. Don’t rely on the xml site map strategy Google is promoting.

Once you have the blog up with content posted, you must turn the blog into a real simple syndication feed. Again, you can use your own system. I prefer to use a free service because I really don’t have the time to waste on such things.

Feedburner.com seems to work find and is simple to use. Opening an account with Feedburner is so easy, I am not even going to explain it. At the end of the process, feedburner will kick out the link for your RSS feed. Here’s where the magic begins.

If you have a yahoo email account, you need to access you’re My Yahoo page. If you don’t have an account, get one! Once you are on the My Yahoo page, do the following:

1. Click the “add content” link in the upper left hand under the search box.

2. When the new page opens, click the “Add RSS by URL” link on the right of the “Find Content” search box in the upper section of the page.

3. Enter the exact link provided by Feedburner and click “add.” Do NOT add the url for your blog.

4. Click the “My Yahoo” tab at the top of the page and refresh the page.

At this point, you should see your feed at the bottom of the page. If you don’t, be patient. Yahoo is sometimes slow, so just try it again in an hour or so. When the feed is added, you should see the name of your blog and the title of each post under it. Yahoo can take up to a day to add new posts, so don’t panic if they don’t show up immediately.

Once you’ve completed the above, Yahoo will follow the links in the blog and index the pages on your site. If one of the links goes to a site map, you are in business. As an added bonus, Google will do the same thing. Let’s look at an example.

We are currently building NomadJournalTrips.com, which has been up for about a month. Roughly 10 to 20 pages are being added each day. Nomad Rick’s Ramblings is the blog for the site and the feed is included on four “My Yahoo” pages for various email accounts. Yahoo has indexed 95 pages and is about four days behind the page additions. Google has indexed 151 pages and is adding to the index every day. The blog and RSS feed are solely responsible for getting these pages indexed this quickly. For more information click Online internet marketing.

Depending on the size of your site, the process can take a few days or a couple of weeks. Every time you add new content, slap it into your blog with links. In no time, you will be taming Yahoo!Slurp.

People that are looking for info about the sphere of free traffic, then go to the URL that is quoted in this passage.

The Resell Rights Gold Mine

Posted by Online Marketer under Uncategorized - No Comments

Other than creating your own products in order to join the herds of increasing business online crowd, there are also other easier ways to have an immediate Internet business established.

So what do you need in order to join the Resell Rights business? It is very easy(really mean it..), which is to have a domain name – able to get one easily from Yahoo for $2.99 or namecheap for $8.88, it depends on which you prefer, a hosting, most preferably a paid one – important, and a fully-functional website.

Here at internet marketing you will learn more on marketing.

There are tons of hosting out there, and to name a few midPhase(free domain name), lunarpages(free domain name as well), bluehost, or GoDaddy are the better ones.

These are almost the basic requirements of a successful affiliate, but don’t be mistaken – Affiliates and resellers are different.

Affiliates don’t need to have any other startup costs other than the basic requirements above, but resellers – yes. Resellers will need to purchase the rights to a product owned by the other people, but they can resell the products and keep 100% of the profits instead. For affiliates, they only receive a percentage of commissions from their sales. Usually, purchasing the rights to resell a certain product can cost 3, 5 or even 10 times more than its normal price.

The few stages of Resell Rights:

• Basic Resell Rights
You can sell the product, but not your customers.

• Master Resell Rights
When you have a master resell rights product for sale, you can resell it to your customers, and so can they with the same product. This means that when you purchase a Master Resell Right, your customers get to sell the same item as well.

• Private Label Rights
These are really popular. Why is it so? – If you purchase a private label right of a product, you get to change the contents of the product any ways you want, produce it under your name, anything! Basically, you can treat it as though it’s your production.

Prices for a private label right is much higher than any other rights. Of course, everyone knows it(it’s common sense!).

• Give Away Rights
As clear as it sounds, you may give away the product to anyone you want! Instead, you can’t sell or edit the product in any ways.

Usually give away rights works well with viral marketing – people give their work out for publicity.

• Rebranding Rights
This product works almost the same as a product with give away rights, but you are able to edit part of the contents to benefit yourself on publicity as well. Most probably, you can only edit the sponsored names, website URL and affiliate links.

How can you profit from a resell rights business at its peak?

You definitely need your opt-in lists. In fact, the most important thing for an Internet Marketer is his or her lists of subscribers. Some Internet Marketers who own 100,000 to 200,000 subscribers(also called leads) doesn’t even need to actually work anymore. What they do everyday is just providing their subscribers or leads with some useful information, real life news, stories, and build a closer relationship with them.

When they found a good product or item, easily they can send an email out and endorse it, earning commissions through the affiliate links. Well as for a reseller, you do the same, but a little bit different. When there are products that you think is interesting and is worth to be “told” to your subscribers, you purchase the resell rights to it and usually, sell them to your subscribers at a better offer.

Most Internet Marketers will usually purchase much more resell rights to the other products then combine them together, selling all of them at a cheaper price in a bundle. Sometimes the price can even be more expensive for up to ten times if you purchase them separately, that is why tons of people would rather purchase the products from resellers in a bulk.

Nevertheless, it is not always a must to sell all of them together. Many resell rights have the same looks and same sales page and you can change that. By writing your own or hiring a copywriter to craft a much more compelling sales copy for the resell product, you can increase the response a lot more.

As for digital products like e-books or software, you can design a whole new e-book cover or software box instead of using the given one that comes with the resell rights. As the saying goes “in the valley of the blind the one with an eye is the king.” 727 words

Now being a reseller is really sometimes easier than anything. When new resell rights which seems attractive are being sold, people will just need to purchase the rights to them, compile them, and next ready to be sold in a single sales copy. Search for joint venture partners, offer them a higher percentage in commissions, request them to endorse your offer and that’s it.

Being any Internet Marketer, it is always better to take hold of every opportunity you can earn money with. When you successfully sell a product to a customer, try and sell him or her another product right on your Thank You page. Basically the idea is “since you’re my customer and you purchased a product from me, here’s a great offer specially for you at an incredible special price.” It’s a very good way of having a back-end sale.

That’s not all, to urge customers into pulling out their credit cards for the Thank You page item, most Internet Marketers will also make it a one-time offer – this will be shown only one time, you won’t see it again. If the customers are interested they’ll get it, if not, there’s no harm at all.

With internet marketing tips you will get more information on marketing.

There are many ideas of earning money as a reseller and you can always apply it for your own. The Internet business market is so huge that you can choose from these varieties of business styles that suits yourself. From starting your own Internet business selling your own product, earning commissions from affiliate programs and being a reseller – make the best decision for yourself and get started!

Turning Your Forum Signatures Into Cash

Posted by Online Marketer under Uncategorized - No Comments

There are thousands and thousands of message boards on the internet. That’s a lot of potential people who may be interested in your products or services. It also serves as a quick and easy way to get a lot of links pointing back at your site and can help get your pages spidered faster by the search engines.

I use a free tool, Board Tracker (http://www.boardtracker.com/), to help monitor posts on over 25,000 forums.

You can set up a free account there and then set up alerts. You can set it to alert you to any posts containing any keyword or phrases you like. Some examples would be, your board nicknames, your domain names, affiliate programs you work with, or whatever else you’re interested in..

When someone makes a post and one of your alert keywords is found, you are emailed a link to the thread which you can follow and make a post. So as not to be a blatant board spammer, it is recommended that you register and make an introduction post on that board before responding to the thread. When responding, you should make your post helpful to the person in regards to answering any question they had without spamming your site/program, you are relying on your signature file here to draw their attention. To learn more about marketing click internet marketing business.

To make this task easier, I suggest utilizing Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/). Roboform makes it easy to handle all of your registering and logins.

Now, let’s find some forums in which we can participate. Everyone has some knowledge or interest in something. Perhaps it is cars, interior design or something else. Whatever it is, you can be certain there are forums for that particular niche.

You can use your favorite search engine and search for…
forums
“message board”

or specifically for…
car message boards
interior design message boards

or search by the different types of forum software like…
“powered by PHPBB”
“powered by vbulletin”

Before registering with any message boards I would suggest that you setup a yahoo or gmail account just for this purpose. It would also be a good idea to use this email for your boardtracker alerts as well.

Now you are ready to begin registering. I have created a new identity in Roboform to handle the registration for me. This includes my signature file as well. Before posting, make sure that you read the board rules so you are able to comply with those.

Once registered, make your introduction post. Basically you are just announcing your arrival and maybe saying a little something about yourself (roboform can do that too!), be sure to set your introduction thread to notify you of new posts so that you are able to respond as others welcome you.

Some things to keep in mind…

Who is your target audience and where will you find them? Are stay home moms likely to be found in Family & Parenting forums? Who is most likely to be participating at a car forum? A pet owners forum? etc..

Once you’ve located your target audience, target your signature to meet the needs of that audience. For example, if you were involved in a Family & Parenting forum, a signature aimed towards the mom who would like to earn money while being home for her children may be in order. If it were a Car or Electronics forum, maybe a signature promoting Free Satellite Dishes (these pay $50-$100 per install btw) would be more appropriate. The idea is to determine what the needs of any particular audience would be and finding a way to appeal to that.

Also, notice that the majority of forums offer a place for people to place advertising, usually under a category labeled something like, “opportunities”, “recommendations”, “spam allowed”, etc.. Look for these and make use of those as well. Each of those is a free targeted link to your site or product.

Make sure that you are paying attention to your anchor text. Anchor text, in case you don’t know, is the actual text that is linked. Choose good keywords for your anchor text that you would like to do well for in the search engines. Never link text such as “click here”.

The most important thing is to make this a part of your daily schedule. Do it each and every day and shortly you will have thousands of free advertising links all over the internet! To get more information on marketing click Online internet marketing.

Disclaimer: I am in no way endorsing blatant spamming! The method I’ve outlined above is more of a suggestion for yet another avenue of free marketing that should be used in a responsible and productive manner which will benefit the board owners, other board members as well as yourself.

Want To Make Web 2.0 Work For Your Business?

Posted by Online Marketer under Uncategorized - No Comments

As the buzzwords go Web 2.0 is the current reigning deity. But how can one small businessman tap into it to make it work for his business? This article offers some tips to sync one’s marketing strategies with web 2.0 scenario.

Want To Make Web 2.0 Work For Your Business?

Silicon Valley loves its buzzwords, and none more than it does Web 2.0 these days. But what exactly is it in terms of website development and strategic internet marketing? Unless you’re a diehard techie, wish you good luck in figuring out what it means. To learn more about marketing click internet marketing advertising.

Web 2.0 technologies bearing names like wikis, blogs, RSS, AJAX, mashups and the startups hawking them — Renkoo, Gahbunga, Ning, Squidoo sound to be straight out of Star Wars, right up Mr. George Lucas’ alley.
So what does all this mumbo-jumbo means to a normal businessman – a value multiplier or ‘only for geeks’ stuff? Rest assured Mr. Businessman, for all its appeal to the young, the nerds and the wired; Web 2.0 may end up making its greatest impact in business.

And this could well prove to be the one vehicle to usher in more changes in corporations that are already in the throes of such tech-driven transformations as globalization and outsourcing. Indeed, what some are calling Enterprise 2.0 could transcend the whole lot of organizational boundaries, between managers and employees and between the company and its partners and customers.

So how does one go about making Web 2.0 work for his/her business? Let’s see how:

1. Work out a plan
Don’t dive in just for the sake of keeping abreast with the changing world and its technology. Be clear about what you’re trying to accomplish, how and where Web 2.0 can help your business, how much you’re willing to invest and what time frame you are working on. Plan ahead!

2. Good content is the key
Web 2.0 is the social web, but it’s still content-driven. And the control lies in the hands of the users here, mind you! You might think yourself to be the smartest marketing man this side of the Suez but remember, it is the user who would determine how good or bad you are. Lousy content leads to lousy marketing, no matter how flashy it is. Make your content relevant, interesting and real. Put yourself in your customer’s shoes, ask yourself questions you would as a customer and answer those with your content.

3. Be a information provider not a salesman
Help, inform, educate but do not sell. Web 2.0 is all about people connecting by helping each other. No salesmen allowed! Think education, not advertising. Deliver useful, nuts and bolts stuff or honest opinions they can believe. That’s how you build credibility and trust that lead to new customer relationships.

4. Have a free hosted blog
Wordpress and Blogger both have very useful and simple blogs you can setup for free. Use them to start blogging and get a feel for how it works and how people use Web 2.0. Dip your toe in the water to test it before diving straight in.

5. Do it yourself
Web 2.0 is about being real. It’s real people connecting with each other. Make sure you or your employees create the content and do the work to start with. And when scales demand it, hire a professional company offering strategic internet marketing services. Still keep tab on what they are doing and what they are writing. For more information click internet marketing strategies.

Surf blogs, YouTube, Google Videos, Del.icio.us, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Technorati and other social media websites. Get a feel for how they work and who goes there. Become part of some social media communities. Make new friends online. Get in touch with professional web development companies and firms providing internet marketing services well versed in Web 2.0 tools and marketing ways. Immerse yourself in the Web 2.0 culture so you know how it works and where and how it fits in smoothly with your marketing plans.
