Use Of Keywords

Posted by Online Marketer under Online Advertising Campaigns - No Comments

I?ve always been fascinated by the way that the internet and computers in general work. But there is one thing about the web that keeps me coming back for more and that is the sheer quantity of choice that one can make online. I have used many methods that have shown me how to either create wealth online or lose it in a heartbeat. It?s not something that is cut out for everyone and it?s definitely not something that everyone should be running to do. Most of the time people are lying to you to make a quick buck and that more often than not is most annoying. Although the methods of making money online seem very simple, they are often very difficult to keep up with. You see, the internet changes everyday and that in itself can be frustrating.

I want to share a few methods of how I ?made it? online and hopefully this will inspire some of you to do the same.

The web is a giant place. There are billions of web pages and these are increasing everyday. Everyone wants a piece of online shares. So how to you keep abreast of the ?heat? if you decide to make money online. Well, you try finding your niche. There are hundreds of tools that will help you to find your niche and most of them come with a great big price to match their so called ?expertise?. Mostly what I find is that these software programs just pull information from Search Engines like Google. So why not just go to the source? The key word tool on Google helps you to find out just how many searches are performed on keywords that you may be interested in. However bear in mind that sometimes these numbers are exaggerated. You can look for anything from keywords to key phrases to see just how these would word in any niche that you select. You can take these keywords and paste them into your blogs or your websites and start optimizing for those only. You will find that if your have great content you will also have an enormous amount of traffic passing through your site.

I find online marketing to be a lot of fun mainly because of the ability to determine results down to the smallest factor. It takes a great deal of effort to set up, but once you have that put of the way you are pretty much set to analysing and processing all the information that you will need. You would find tons of guides online to help you determine which analytics service you should use. I personally recommend Google Analytics; however, there are many others to choose from.
I use blogging software namely WordPress as a CMS or a targeted blog to add that extra edge to my online efforts. Here are a few sites that I use to market my information:
? Twitter
? Email and RSS feeds
? Facebook
? LinkedIn
? Freindfeed
? Technorati
? Mixx
? Digg
You can choose as many as you like and even find more online that could help you to get a wider audience and maybe even an audience that is more targeted. Depending on your type of service and/or product you might choose to market only to a specific area and/or country. For this type of marketing I make use of the Google, MSN and Yahoo! Webmaster tools to ensure that all of my search results are targeted towards the place that it is intended for. This way you may even get better Search Engine Results Positioning and would ultimately help to increase your sales per visit.

Remember that your content and site should be optimized for your visitors and not the search engines. This can help you realize the potential of your site and ensure that you create a memorable presence online. Also, you should keep your web site visitors by offering them a quick, concise and friendly way of signing up to email notifications of new content or offers that you may have.

I Am Happy With Attraction Marketing.

Posted by Online Marketer under Online Strategies - No Comments

First off, let me tell you right now that I am not an Internet Guru , with years of experience earning incredible money online. I am an online entrepreneur who spent a great deal of time exploring different programs, systems and strategies in an unsuccessful attempt to earn residual income through Network Marketing. OK, I admit that at one time, striking it rich from selling Affiliate Products online was my main objective. How my friends laughed when I told them of my ?dream?!

I was attracted to every Affiliate Program I saw that promised immediate returns for nothing, and I did not hesitate to sign up. Without money, I was faced with the uphill task of marketing a product or ?opportunity? I often knew very little about. I soon realized how frustrating it was to build a business using cold calls, expensive advertising, and prospecting that brought poor results. How do I expect my prospects to trust me if I am only eager to sell them a product ? As you can certainly recognize, selling doesn’t work as well as it used to. Most people today resist being sold to and they hate being sales persons .

Three years later, with a long list of Affiliate Links and no income, I stopped marketing. I however still have hope for network marketing.

Like others who tried online marketing the ?old? way, failure
may be linked to :
1. Unrealistic expectations on the returns vs. effort.
I really should have known that marketers or Affiliate Programs that promise ?get rich quick? results are often misleading ! One needs to work diligently and apply sound principles to
see consistent results in online marketing.
2. Poor planning and little execution. I did not take the time to target my market and learn what the audience really wants .
3. No mentorship – Note that I did not say “no training” as most, if not all, of the Affiliate Programs offered training.
4. No money. Yes, inevitably, after trying various techniques, often at great expense, my resources soon ran out .
5. My negative attitude toward MLM. My initial excitement about doing business online was transformed into suspicion. In fact, I routinely delete all emails reaching my inbox from internet marketers .

While doing some online research , I saw a posting on Face book and clicked. This opened my eyes to the world of “Attraction Marketing”.

At first I was expecting another flood of messages promoting yet anotherproduct but surprise, surprise – no such
message appeared in my inbox from that marketer. I was quite happy for this. I was more appreciative of the actual mentorship I received.

One of the first things I had to unlearn was that my family and friends are a ?warm market? who would be interested in my new opportunity or product ?
False! .
In fact, the opposite message was being promoted -
Don’t sell your Affiliate Productto family and Friends, they are not as receptive as you think! ; Take the time to build your relationship (heard this one before?);
Add value in your niche or industry;
Establish yourself as a leader in your niche ;
Seek to dominate the online market;
Become a magnet to people;
Build trust and confidence;

Notice I did not mention “sell your product” . With Attraction Marketing, you become the hunted, not the hunter. Your prospects will actively look you up for what you have to offer to help them in their marketing.

The beauty of attraction marketing is that you are in a position to use various resources (even free ones) to reach out to PEOPLE online and establish a rapport long before you mention a product. Applying the principles of attraction marketing will result in greater gains for you owing to the strong relationships you are able to build .

It is clear that trying to build a business the old fashioned way does not work, and will only lead to frustration! This old process is generally challenging for the experienced marketer and virtually impossible for the young marketer…hence the reason why so many persons fail in network marketing .

My exposure to attraction marketing has given me renewed hope that what successful marketers have been secretly doing all along can actually work for me.

What Is An Ezine And How Could It Drive Traffic To My Website?

Posted by Online Marketer under Email Campaigns - No Comments

First, what is an online newsletter?
Well, it is merely a way of you communicating with previous and present traffic, whilst perhaps making them an offer. A newsletter might give details of latest tips and posts, or a summary of new additions on your site and links to go to in order to read them fully. You might want to use a newsletter, or ezine, as a way of communicating special offers to customers in the hope that they will come back to your website and buy from you.

Usually you would send the online newsletter via email direct to the reader’s email address. So, if they are interested in whatever you are offering, they will give you there email address and probably some other details. As for instance, they may tell you exactly which types of offers they are interested in.

So an online newsletter is straightforwardly a way of sending a newsletter to signed up visitors direct to their email box.

How does an online newsletter generate traffic?
An online newsletter is aimed at people who have already visited your website and want to find out more. It is not aimed at new traffic, unless you fall to the level of spam lists with their pathetic success rates. Do not get involved with spam!

Instead you are sending previous traffic offers and latest updates. You are hoping to tempt them back in excess of to your site, possibly to read a latest interesting post or to have a look at latest stock and your superb new offers.

It might, at first, seem that because the newsletter is targeted at previous visitors that there is a limited audience and that a small target audience will give limited results. But the fact is that these people have already visited your web site, they are interested in it and what you provide and have had the confidence in your site to give you their email addresses.

This all mounts up to one crucial factor – they are highly prospective to respond to your newsletter now and in the future.

So it does not drive new visitors to your web site, but encourages qualified previous traffic to make the return trip, probably even then remembering to come back again in the future.

And there’s more?
What happens when the offer that you put in the newsletter is too good to miss? What happens when the latest post that you are talking about is a must read piece of information? Well the recipients are your fans, and this means that if the online newsletter contains something valuable, they might even pass it onto their friends. So driving brand new traffic is potential through an online newsletter, merely not the main visitors generation method.

In conclusion
An online newsletter is actually very straightforward to set up, with various web sites offering such services totally for free. Make good offers to encourage your traffic to sign up for the newsletter and make further offers in the newsletters to be certain that they stay subscribed and are tempted into visiting your site.

Establishing Trust With A Front Page Web Video

Posted by Online Marketer under General - No Comments

Putting a web video on page one of your web site, is not about information, it is not about product presentation, it is about trust establishment. As this article will explain, giving surfers a chance to see you, the owner, face to face in a web video, will immediately begin to establish trust in you, and facilitate their decision to want to do business with you

Trust is defined in the social sciences as having faith in others, believing in them. It may be shocking to know that having trust in another person is not the same as believing that person is ethical or law abiding. However, the degree to which one person trusts another is a reflection of belief in the other person’s honesty, fairness and benevolence. Important for establishing initial trust in business is that fact that a failure in trust is more easily forgiven if it is due to t a failure in competence rather than a lack of benevolence or honesty. As a result, sometimes a business providing, at least temporarily, inferior services may fare better with their customers than a company providing superior services, if people feel the first company is honest and means well.

The phenomenon of trust is summed up in the following definition. It is described as a “heuristic decision rule, allowing the human to deal with complexities that would require unrealistic effort in rational reasoning. Lets break this definition down. Heuristic processes are trial and error approaches to problem solving which begin with the most accessible solution, and go on to another solution, only if the first solution doesn’t solve the problem. What this means in terms of business is that if a customer finds himself interacting with a business owner that he intrinsically wishes to trust, because the owner appears benevolent, good natured and well meaning. Then the customer will prefer to trust the owner and do business rather than get involved into complex rational thought about what might go wrong in the business relationship.

Now getting back to the main theme of the article. What does putting a video on page one of the web site have to do with trust?. And here’s the answer. When a surfer goes onto a new web site, and thinks about doing business with someone he’s never met, he can rapidly be won over by a short online video of the owner talking with him. If he likes the look and personality of the owner than he will immediately wish to trust him and do business, because that will be the easiest solution for him to take.

And this realization leaves us with one more important take away lesson. A front page video needn’t trouble itself with a description of company services or products. It just has to provide a reason for the surfer to trust the owner. A short 40 second passionate description, by the owner saying that he established the family potato chip business 30 years ago because he wanted to provide people with a crispy chip that wouldn’t lose its favor in the package, will win trust right away.
